It’s never simple when a church is at the focus of an inquiry, especially when that institution is being held accountable for misconduct. The thirteenth episode of Law & Order Season 22 is titled “Mammon” and it seems intriguing. Sam Waterston‘s Jack McCoy wants Assistant District Attorney Nathan Price (Hugh Dancy) and ADA Samantha Maroun to ignore the corrupt church and concentrate on the current investigation, but the two of them decide to take on the institution instead. McCoy is concerned that they will go too far in their investigation of the church.
