Resident Alien Season 3 Episode 5 Recap: Lovebird

In the most recent episode of “Resident Alien,” “Lovebird,” our favorite alien-in-disguise, Harry (Alan Tudyk), is in a tough spot because he’s in love. But not with a person. Harry is in love with Heather, who is also from another planet and is also known as the Blue Avian. Their relationship is both funny and awkward, especially for Harry’s human friends Asta (Sara Tomko) and D’arcy (Alice Wetterlund), who think he has forgotten that his job is to save the world from the Gray Aliens. Viewers are treated to both heartwarming and hilarious moments as the show goes on, and the main mystery of who Harry really is and what the Gray Aliens are planning keeps getting solved.

Resident Alien Season 3 Episode 5 Recap

The episode begins with a captivating scene of an extraterrestrial hybrid attempting to conjure something from a lake while holding a mystical ball. But he drops the ball and walks away, leaving Joseph to pick it up. The Greys show up and ask Joseph to bring them someone named Joseph because he is the only one who can hold the ball.

At the same time, Harry and Heather have become close and are now exploring the world together. The birds they get from pet stores bring them together, and while they watch nature programs, Harry gets ideas for how to win her heart. They are clearly close because they share private moments together, like when Harry feeds Heather worms like spaghetti.

When Asta gets back to Patience, she can’t reach Harry and starts to worry. When Jay’s mom brings Jay’s medicines to Asta, she finds out that Jay wants to travel the world with his girlfriend instead of going to college. The moment between Asta and Jay’s mom is sweet and shows how close they are.

He grabs Asta for a dance while he sings about his love. But it turns out that Harry and Heather have been touching each other everywhere, even on Asta’s couch. This makes Asta get a bra and understand how serious their relationship is.

At the same time, Mike and Liv look into the book that was found in the van. Mike jokes about how important the contents might be. Things get really serious for them though when they find out what the strange formula really means.

While Harry and Heather are still messing around outside, D’Arcy and Asta are making dinner. D’Arcy makes chicken, but Heather doesn’t seem to like it based on how she acts. But Harry saves the day with sunflower seeds, which shows that he cares about Heather.

During dinner, Harry shocks Asta by telling her that they are going to Heather’s home planet. Heather also tells everyone that Ben has been taken by the Greys, which surprises everyone. D’Arcy wants Harry to stay and help defeat the Greys, but Harry is set on completing his task.
