“The Neighborhood” is back with Season 6 Episode 5, “Welcome to the Front Window,” to the delight of its devoted audience following a brief hiatus.
In this episode, the show makes a fun reference to Alfred Hitchcock, the master of tension, by basing a plot on his famous movie “Rear Window.” Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) is stuck at home while he heals. He is bored at first, but soon becomes interested, so he starts to watch his neighbors through his front window.
Calvin starts to think that something fishy is going on across the street, which makes him suspicious. He asks his friends, the Butlers and Johnsons, to help him catch their new neighbor in the act so that he can find out the truth. The characters’ antics might not be as exciting as Hitchcock’s suspenseful thriller, but the show is sure to be funny and entertaining as they try to solve a mystery on their own.
“Welcome to the Front Window” was directed by Kelly Park and written by Malik S. As the characters work together to find out the truth about their new neighbor, fans can look forward to a fun and exciting journey.
